This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hello I would like to congratulate you on your theme it is very nice, however I am having difficulty installing the demo as seen in this link http://demo.themeburn.com/kiddos/2/. I have made a totally new installation of open cart with only the theme added and the button to Import Data was never presented to me. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the theme as I found some posts suggesting that it would help but that did not help at all.

Since my customer was sold on the theme as presented in the demo , you can appreciate the importance of being able to solve this.

Kind Regards

Hi,

Are you using Safari? There is an unresolved bug that prevents the popup to show in this browser. Is this your case?

Hi,

In this case, we will need the website url and admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

This is a local XAMPP server that I am using before uploading to the real site, I do not know if I can give you access to the machine.

Is there any other advise?

Hi,

Tried installing open cart 2.1 but the same thing.
Do you know if the database collation has anything to do with this , because mine are utf8_general_ci.

Hi I finally worked around this as the button showed up in the hosted website install that I did.

However I am having another problem as I cannot seem to add a new category that I have addes to open cart which does not show up on the menu main categories.

Any advice on this ?

Hi,

1) Only top level categories can be added in the menu.

2) All top level categories should have the “Top” option selected.

Maybe this is your case?

Hi,

There is something else. Menu does not rebuild if theme cache is turned ON. You should either disable it until you setup your menu, or clear it after you make the changes to navigation.
