Hi,
I installed the theme on my OpenCart server.
However I have a problem with it. Often, I’ll see a loading indicator that never goes away. I also can’t save some parameters, please see attached image.
Before contacting you on this forum I upgraded the theme to 1.1.4 but now I can’t event see the website and get a 500 HTTP error.
Do you know what could cause this? I carefully followed the instruction and even reinstalled the theme but no luck… same problem.
Thanks!
Etienne

Hi Etienne,
We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.
You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Nothing new about my problem? It has been nearly 1 week since my last reply.

Hi,
We haven’t ignored this problem. Unfortunately your OC installation differs from the original one and we will need some time to identify and clear all extra things that are messing with BurnEngine.

Hi thanks for your reply.
Can I help you with something in particular with the installation? We would really want to build our new website as soon as possible.
Your help is really appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi,
It’s been 3 weeks since your last reply. How is it going?
I’m unable to use the theme and we can’t progress in our web project (it’s becoming urgent!).
Thanks.

Hi,
Sorry for the long delay but your case was a bit out of the ordinary OC installation. It seems that your custom built adds some extra JS that breaks the BurnEngine CP. We’ve used a regular expression to remove this JS in the CP page. The file we’ve modified is:
system\vendor\BurnEngine\library\Utils.php
the row we’ve modified:
// old
$patterns = array('/jquery-.*\.js/i', '/tabs.js/i');
//new
$patterns = array('/jquery-.*\.js/i', '/tabs.js/i', '/select2.min.js/i', '/select2_locale_fr.js/i', '/common_vs.js/i');
Since this change is very specific for your problem, we won’t add it in the main theme release. You will need to manually insert the fix each time you update your theme.

Hi, thanks you very much, I am now able to customize the theme.
I have two other problems however :
1. The theme disables itself. I need to change the theme (in OC Settings) every now and then to keep Technopolis active.
2. I can’t access any sub page from the main menu. The link indicated in the editor (admin interface) works but is not the same as in the menu.
Thanks for your help!
Etienne
