Problem with seo url

Hello,

I have your theme Pavilion and it’s awesome, unfortunately i’m facing some problems when I do my seo optimization.

My web page is in 2 languages: Romanian and Russian, so i need to have separate links to each language: ex. http://www.cegoltar.md/ru/despre-noi for russian language and http://www.cegoltar.md/ro/despre-noi for romanian language

I’ve bought some  extensions that claim to change the url automatically, but non of them are working properly, and developer refund my money and told my that it’s your theme, witch is incompatible  with theme.

How can i solve this problem? here are the extensions that i used:

maybe you can recommend me some extensions for my problem?!

Hi,

We’ve made a compatibility fix for the Ultimate SEO extension:

The other one (Multilingual SEO URL’s) should work without any additional modifications.

P.S. Have in mind that both extensions may not work together, as they have features that may conflict.

Hi,

unfortunately problem is NOT solved, i still don’t have different links for different languages. Installed the ultimate SEO, together with your additional file, and no result, even i follow all the steps. When i saw that is no result i delete all the file of this extension and upload the Multilingual SEO URL’s, and still no result please look at my page: http://www.cegoltar.md, try to navigate trough the web page and change the language by clicking the flags from the right, you will see that no result. I have 2 languages: romanian and russian.

I discuss with the developers of the Multilanguage SEO URL’s and here is their answer why their extensions can’t work:
“Hi Alexandru

The extension is not compatible with your setup due to your theme (all themeburn themes basically rip apart opencart to get it working as it needs it and messes up a lot) and/or the ultimate seo extension you have installed.

Following this logical framework, i delete the Ultimate SEO, and no result, so your theme seems to be the problem

Please advice me how to do, to get it worked!

Hi,

We’ve tested both extensions locally and both work seamlessly.

Multilingual SEO URLs works out of the box. You need to make sure, you have System > Settings > Server > SEO urls enabled.

Ultimate SEO needs the small compatibility patch to fix language links. Maybe you haven’t installed it correctly?

The language flags on your website however are not connected with any of the two extensions.

We’ve now checked your server and it seems that you don’t have vQmod installed.

This is the reason some of your extensions are not working.
