This topic has been marked as resolved.
@ThemeBurn It seems that the placement of the Quickview button does not fall inline with other buttons on product listings and has a couple minor issues when placed on its own as well. If you place the button to overlap thumbnail bottom, it should be centered on the thumbnail, instead it starts the button’s furthest left side at the middle. If you try to place the quickview, wishlist, and compare buttons all at the bottom of the thumbnail, the quickview button overlaps the wishlist button by default. I think that some useful placement additions for the quickview button (in the next update) should include: And it would be great if you could include a new style option for the Quickview Button to be Full-Width button that spans the entire width of the thumbnail. As always, it’s greatly appreciated!

Hi, 1) Thanks for reporting these problems! Will try to cover all possible combinations. 2) Unfortunately, adding additional positions is possible only with the help of either markup changes or javascript calculations – something that we do not want to do. BR, |

Thanks @TB Support Do you plan on including the fixes in the next release? Is there an ETA for the next update? Thanks in advance! |

Hi, The update is already available (if you haven’t received an update notification). Hope we haven’t missed any button position issues. Do not forget that you can use the offset field to fine tune the position of buttons. BR, |

@TB Support I have upgraded to the latest version (v1.2.3) and I don’t know if the issue has been resolved or not. The thumbnail hover button placement still seems a bit “off” to me. The following settings applied: Compare – Icon only box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom Left) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Wishlist – Icon only box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom Right) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Quickview – Box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Gives the following result: https://www.screencast.com/t/hPo8olTBLu8 If I change the settings to the following: Compare – Icon only box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Wishlist – Icon only box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Quickview – Icon only box – Position: Overlap Thumbnail (Bottom) – Show on Hover: ON – No offset adjustment Gives the following result: https://www.screencast.com/t/a5bbCCfdW I’m not sure if maybe it’s a misunderstanding on my part, but when applying the settings like you have done here: http://stylish.pavilion-theme.com/ only works if the cart button is also set in the same area as the other action buttons. I’m trying to accomplish something similar but with the quickview button in place of the cart button on your demo theme. Thanks! |

Hi, The problems you have reported are confirmed. 1) Unfortunately we cannot position a button with text. Only “icon only” buttons will be positioned automatically. All other buttons or plain text will manual position via the “offset” field. 2) The same situation like issue 1. Will provide the fixes with the upcoming update. BR, |

@TB Support It’s been a while since anything has happened on this thread but I wanted to check back in with you regarding the placement of the quickview button. Back on April 7, 2017, you mentioned that you would provide fixes in the upcoming release for the odd placement of the quickview button. With the most recent release of BurnEngine v1.2.6, I do not see any of these fixes. Perhaps I am missing something? Thanks in advance! |
