ThemeBurn Support › Forums › OpenCart Themes › Pavilion OpenCart Theme › Reinstall theme as fresh
This topic has been marked as not resolved.
Hello I have installed pavilion theme on my store for about two years now “and still like it ” I had a problem previously when i activated CEO pack and it was fixed, then had some troubles with third party extension and also it has been fixed by their support, but I think since that time something was wrong related to main menu and I didn’t care about it because I depend on other navigating options in the theme. However, now my clients facing some different problems: - when adding items to cart then shifting to another page “specially when using main menu” the cart goes empty. - On mobile phones clients are not able to change language from Arabic “the default” to english. Now I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the theme reinstalled as if it’s a fresh installation while keeping store data “sales, registered clients, products, pages layouts” ? and without need to go through adding Arabic language and so on.? my website url: http://www.aljali.com Please advice, and I’m willing to renew my support license for this matter.
Best regards and thanks in advance |

Hi, 1) The problem with the empty cart page is a result of non www to www site redirect. As we see your website default url is http://www.site.com. If you open the website as site.com and add a product in the cart and then visit a link from the main navigation you get redirected to http://www.site.com. These two are handled as two different domains. The solution here is to put a redirection in your htaccess to always open the www version. There are many tutorials in the net that can help you do this modification. Here is one: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/htaccess/force-www-htaccess 2) You are using a BurnEngine version that has a problem with dropdown menus on touch devices. It has been fixed with more recent versions and you need to update. BR, |
