Security updates question

Hello. My web shop is using Pavilion Open Cart Theme Version 2.0.1.1. Since this version I think there were a couple of updates but I didn’t update because I have made some heavy modifications to the code of my current version. I want to upgrade but by doing that I will loose all the modifications I have made in to produce a web shop that works well for the needs of my business. Can you tell me if there were major security updated to the versions after mine (Version 2.0.1.1)? Can you direct me to what this security updates were (a list of them would be fine) so that I can decide if to go with updates or not? Thank you in advance Vladimiros	fotokiosk
