SEO problem with one word – gift

I recently did an upgrade from opencart 2.0 to 2.3 and updated pavilion also to latest version, also activated https, everything is fine except this:

one of the shop main categories was /gift and now it doesn’t work.

If I change it to gifts or giftss or any more characters after “gift” it always show 404 error.

any other word instead, non existent of course works ok.

is “gift” a reserved word ?

using ggift now and it works

We will need the website admin and ftp access, so we can check.
