I have the same problem. Could you explain the steps to solve it, please?

Many thanks,

@amarros enter the Shoppica CP in the admin area, go to the ‘Footer’ tab, change the status of the subtabs to enabled and then save. The error should dissapear. You can disable them afterwards if you wish.

This notice appears when you uprade to Shoppica 1.0.9 and you had old info in the footer tabs. Since Shoppica 1.0.9 the footer tabs are multilingual and the info is not compatible with the old one.

Hi,

many thanks for your reply.

That answer does not solve my problem, as I use 1.0.9 and I already had all footers enabled.

To be honest, I am starting to loose faith to solve it. I understand there is nothing wrong with Shoppica, but it is very frustrating.

I have tried several spanish translations. I have even made my one one and replaced the english folders but I get a problem with checkout/checkout.php, because as soon as I make a few changes there seems to be a problem and the page does not let you continue the checkout process.

Don’t really know how to follow on. At this moment I am completely lost.

Anyway, thanks again for your help.

@amarros post your ftp details so we can take a look. As stated here, we have fixed the bug which caused the hidden information to be sent to the subscribers. You can safely post it.

Many thanks.

As I stated, I have tried everything. The website is working now because I have overwritten all the files in the english folders and my main interest is the spanish language.

Anyway, I just installed french language to test and I still get the same error:

Notice: Undefined index: 3 in catalog/controller/module/shoppica.php on line 75

Many thanks again.

Hi again @amarros

I wasn’t able to invoke the ‘Undefined index on line 75′ error. I change the language to french and this produces no error for me.

Did you manage to fix it yourself ?

Hi, I am now completely lost. I have no clue.

I got the problem several times but, as you say, French it is not giving me troubles anymore.

I have installed Spanish, and the problem has come back.

As I really wanted to update one of my webs to 1.5.1.1 I translated the whole catalog/english folder to spanish and it worked perfectly (I kept the translated files in the english folder). This morning I have changed the folder’s name to spanish (I also changed english.php) and reinstalled English.

English and french work fine. Spanish produces the error again.

I have no idea how to continue, as the web was working fine before I changed the name of the folder.

I am sorry, as I realize is probably something I am doing wrong, but I have checked and reinstalled everything several times.

Many thanks.

Okay, we’ve resolved the issue. It will be provided in the next Shoppica upgrade (1.10). When you add another language, you need to enter the ‘Shoppica Theme CP’ and just hit ‘save’ so that the footer can update its language index. This won’t be necessary after we ship the fix.

I can only thank you. You are by far the best!

(Is there anyway to remove my site details from the post?).
