Guys – we have an old version of Shoppica on our site from 2012 – not sure even how to tell what version it is. Can’t see it written anywhere. Little site is busy – so really don’t want it offline for any length of time! Was wondering – would you guys be able to do an update for me (I have access to the latest package in my Themeforest a/c) – obviously if there’s a cost for your time we can arrange that. I know this isn’t a normal support request. I can provide full access, ftp and CP login etc if so. Really am desperate for help. Really hope you can help guys. Thanks a million

Hi, We could do the migration for you, but at the moment we are fully loaded and cannot take any more work. You can try to do it yourself or seek a freelancer to do the job. Here are some points to have in mind: 1) There is no migration between Shoppica 1 or 2 to the most recent version that is built over BurnEngine. 2) You can create a new OpenCart installation, with the latest Shoppica there and then import products, categories, customers and other important database records. Once the new setup is ready, you only need to replace the old one. BR, |
