Social Media Log in

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hello there. We are using OC 1.5.6.4 and Pavilion. We have installed ‘social log in’ plug in by dreamvention. The app works well when someone tries to log in thru the social media buttons incorporate on the checkout page. Further we have changed relevant settings to ensure that buttons should be visible on the ‘Account’ Layout and ‘Home’ layout. However these are not appearing at the relevant pages.

We think there’s a potential conflict with some settings in Pavilion and not sure how or where to check, what should be enabled or disabled if the Log in Page / Sign up page or the My Account Page should display these buttons. Note that we have these three tabs,  however log-in and my account page points to the same page eventually with option for returning customer to use their log in or for new customer to register. Sign up page directly points to registration page. We would like to have FB and G+ etc other buttons as visible on checkout pages, on these three tabs too.

Also, we would want to add some background colour and styling to the Login/Signup and My account page.

Thanks for your quick revert.

Hi,

1) Depending on what you want to change on the Login/Sign Up page, you need to check:

- Theme Settings > Style > Content > System/Account/Login or
- Page Builder > Content > System/Account/Login

You have some styling option on both locations.

2) We need to check this “Social Login” extension. Please, send us the package on our email

#1 I want to incorporate social media buttons from my social media extension into Sign Up Page and the Log in page. Currently both are rendered on the same page in a two column format just like the default OC. So which one do I try and how do I activate the buttons from the other extension into these pages? These are tested and work fine when log in is done from checkout page

#2 Have sent the plug in. Kindly investigate and help.

Did you get any response on this? I am keen on the same thing.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, but we’ve somehow missed this topic.

We’ve checked your version (the one for OC 1.5.x) and it seems to work without any additional modification.

What you need to do:

1) Export the the module for Page Builder (as described here).

2) Go to Page Builder > Content (or Left or Right column) > System > Account > Account Login / Register account and insert the Opencart module block (check the above link).

3) You could insert this module for other system pages as well.
