Hello there!
My webshop is online at http://www.twee-en-meer.be. I have a few questions and things I have been struggling with for a while now.
The product intro:
Although very beautiful, customers have complained it is too big and slides too fast. Can I change its size and speed?
An empty box:
I would want to add a box with an RSS feed or the possibility to link to my recent blogposts on http://twee-en-meer.blogspot.com. I downloaded one for free, but don’t think it is compatible with Shoppica? At least it doesn’t show up, even though it is on the Admin pages.
Updates:
I have made lots of changes to the language files. If I would update the theme, would they be lost?
TIA!

Okay, I have been browsing through this forum and decided to go ahead and try to update to the latest Shoppica theme. That might solve a few things already. I will have to be careful with what I upload and compare my translated files to the new ones. I’ll be back though if it doesn’t work.

Sadly I still cannot find a way to change the intro slide show.

Is this because I haven’t updated to the latest OC version? I am rather hesitant to do so as I made lots and lots of changes.
Just to be clear: I’d want to make the product slide show for the home page intro somewhat smaller and it would be good to have it go slower too.

I did not mean to insult you or imply you weren’t doing your best. I was just hoping someone else would pick up my problem and write about his/her experience solving it.
1. I tried and it works, but the text is still disappearing too fast. Is there a possibility of having the products and their names slide without the whole text? People want to read it and get frustrated if they can’t. I had been thinking about making a custom image slide show too, but that doesn’t work too well either or rather I cannot get it to work properly. I’ll have my brother look into it and get back here if I have further questions.
2. I’ll check it again tonight. It’s probably something simple I forgot to do.
3. Fine.
4. I meant to say I was going to update to the latest Shoppica version for my current OC version (1.4.9). I wasn’t considering to update to OC 1.5, but I’m in doubt now. Why are you saying it is not easy for the average user? If I would upload every file individually in the correct map, would that be okay? I know I may not sound like it, but I installed the version I am running now myself too.
Thanks for your answers.

I’ll have to admit, I’m probably a below-average user. I am leaving it for now and updating to OC 1.5 later, with the help of my brother. For now I would like to ask one more question.
Would it be possible to have the homepage TITLE look like the ones in the categories?

TIA again!

Thanks, it works.
I do get an error though. It appears above the title.

Hi TB, do you think you can have a look at my error? Sorry if I’m being a bully, I don’t mean to.

Hi,
Sorry, we missed to remove the breadcrumb initialization. We changed the above code.
You could copy it now.
