Hi,

I need to be able to add videos on my blog page and I can’t seem to make it right. I tried using iframe in the source but i’m afraid it would be too complicated for my client to edit them on their own. While searching, I found this plugin https://github.com/w8tcha/CKEditor-oEmbed-Plugin and this http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=12817&filter_search=ckeditor

Will I be able to insert them into the blog stories toolbar? If not, is there any other way that I can have a toolbar with a video option? Thank you!

Hi,

You nee to make a custom configuration for your CKEDITOR initialization for Stories. The template that you need to modify is:

admin/view/template/stories/form.tpl

You can use this configuration file to include this extra embed extension.

Is there a possibility that instead of an image upload for the featured image on the article data, an option of a video embed can be used? So I can make an article with video thumbnails? Thanks

Unfortunately, adding a video teaser is not possible for the moment, but it will added in future versions for sure.

Video teaser will be added in the minor update we are preparing at the moment. Hopefully it will be available in a couple of days.
