Hello everyone at ThemeBurn.

We would like to implement the Blog in our shop but there is something that doesn’t work with Stories. The Description field cannot be edited and the field disappears. Also, is it possible to insert images in the text (provided there a way to insert it)? We are on:

OpenCart 2.1.0.2

Pavilion Controller 1.2.9

Hi Marco,

We’ve recently released a new Pavilion version. There is a major update and a smaller bugfix one as well. Both however has the Stories module updated. Can you please try this new version?

Is it possible to update without redoing the opencart installation?
I don’t want to screw everything up.

Hi,

You don’t need to reinstall OpenCart. You only need to upload the new theme version.

If you choose to go to Pavilion v.2 you will have to go through an upgrade process that will convert your theme settings. Please, have in mind that some settings may not be able to fully transfer. You may need to additionally fine tune some of your styles.

Although you won’t loose any data, be sure you have a recent backup, before you go through the upgrade process.
