Hi I hope you can help me as I’m struggling with columns.
I have: fresh install of OpenCart v1.5.0 with no mods, Shoppica has been installed and I have used the 1.5.1 files and additional files where instructed.
This is what i have so far

The Categories are in the right place in the left hand column, but I want the welcome message up at the side in the right hand column. (Welcome is set to Content Top)
The featured items are set to content bottom but they don’t seem to be displaying correctly, they aren’t listing side by side.
Hoping you can help me sort this out, all help appreciated.

Hi,
Do you have any particular reason not to use the latest (1.5.1.3) version of OpenCart? We ask, because Shoppica does not support 1.5.0.x version. You will need to update in order to use the theme.
Also, you will need to be sure, you have put the modified /system/enginge/controller.php (as explained in the documentation). This file is needed for proper column initialization.
If you still experience any problems, after the upgrade, do not hesitate to ask for help.

Hi,
I am only web developer on this and the IT company my client is using to connect their online databases to their back databases say this is the version they support.
I have already asked the question however about upgrading as I suspected that’s where the issues lie. I have double checked that the controller.php file has been uploaded also.
I still have the problem with the featured listings being vertical and not horizontal – is that all connected with the OpenCart version?
