Sudden Ajax One Page Checkout error

Hello Themeburn,

I have been happily using BE since the beta testing :-)

I have a sudden problem. Not entirely sure of origins, as 2 things happened 1) my Vqmod stopped working and 2) not long after I had a server crash and had to restore from backup

I have been using Ajax One Page Checkout since beta, using your addon template file. When my vqmod stopped working, the site fell back to default checkout.

Now, having got vqmod back up and running, when I enable the one page checkout it doesnt show – i get a blank content block on the checkout page.

I have the following 2 errors in my OC error log that occur at the same time:

<2016-11-09 19:27:42 – PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/image/cache/tb/inline_05fa622d64c9aafe5ae508eb5cf95673.js): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/system/vendor/BurnEngine/library/OutputHandler.php on line 442
2016-11-09 19:27:44 – PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/image/cache/tb/main_7bc473b8c845642cd633ffde22dab5b1.script.js): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/system/vendor/BurnEngine/library/OutputHandler.php on line 552

I have checked all my BE folder permissions and they are all 755. I have googled about and cant find any insight into it. What could it be?
Thanks so much for any help you can give on it.

Hi guys,

I got the site back and running, but for some reason vqmod seems to be interact badly with opencart and BurnEngine on my server. I have just been testing in a separate test installation and serious issues occur – general errors and burnengine just hangs and wont load in admin. …so I’ not turning vqmod back on on the live site for now, because it seems fatal.

So…Having had the horror of a site crash what i want to know now is how to export my Burnengine settings? because when I hit export it seems to be doing something but then the page just refreshes and there is no download or export file anywhere? Can I manually retrieve the export using filezilla? I cant seem to find any created file that in any server directories?

thanks

Hi,

You could use OpenCart backup/restore tool or phpmyadmin to export BurnEngine settings. The table used to store theme settings is burnengine_setting.

You could also export the entire database to save your other data (categories, products, orders etc.)

About the problems with updating. You could do a new installation, import the database and the start to enable extensions one by one.
