Template Installation Problem

I just bought this template but it won’t work on OpenCart 1.5.1 or 1.5.1.1. The OpenCart install is new and works fine but when I copy the folders from Shoppica into the OpenCart directory I get an error 500 across the whole site.

Any help much appreciated!

Okay I fixed it. For anyone who has the same problem – don’t simply replace all the folders within the Shoppica theme with the ones in your OpenCart root.

Instead, go through each folder individually and add the files from the Shoppica folders into the corresponding OpenCart ones. A simple problem but it’s an easily made mistake.

Hi Daisy,

There are three folders in the package and each is for a different OpenCart version. After you have picked your version, there shouldn’t be any problem to take all the contents of FILES_TO_UPLOAD folder and copy them into your OpenCart root directory.

Could you, please, share a bit more info about your server specification, so we could investigate, whether this is a bug, which could be removed?
