Thumnail cropping

Hi, is there any way to crop all the thumbnails in product lists & on product pages in order to be square or at least the same ratio. I would really appreciate any help.

i am using opencart 1.5.13 & Shoppica 1.0.1.1. Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately, OpenCart doesn’t have the option to crop the images. It only adds white space to fit the dimensions set in the System -> Settings -> Image.

The only solutions is to add images what have the same proportions.

You may somehow change the way the thumbnails are created, by modifying the core files, that are controlling the process. You will have to take a look at the official OpenCart forums, however, as we can’t be of any help here.
