Unable to install BurnEngine – permissions issue

Hi,

I’m trying to install Shoppica BurnEngine and getting the following error:

“The folder /home/……/system/modification/ needs to be writable for OpenCart to work. Please change its permissions to 777″

Any ideas?

Fresh opencart install : Version 2.1.0.2

Hi,

I managed to resolve this issue by selecting refresh from the Modifications menu.

Hi,

Very strange indeed. Generally, after you install BurnEngine module (or theme in OC 2.2+), you should have your modifications refreshed.

Most likely, you have followed theme documentation installation steps, but have you made something different (or in different order)?
