Hello ThemeBurn team,
Do you know if the lastest version of burnengine BE 1.1.2 is still compatible with OC 2.0.3.1 or does it require the newest version of Opencart ?

I tried to upgrade the theme but i can’t see anymore any module under the menu extension/modules in admin.
Source env: BE 1.0.7 , OC 2.0.3.1 (theme pavilion v2.0.2)
Target env: BE 1.1.2 , OC 2.0.3.1 (theme pavilion v2.1.2)

Could you please confirm if the theme BE 1.1.2 is compatible with OC version < OC 2.2 (OC version including core changes for extensions) and more specifically with OC 2.0.3.1 ?

i m trying to check what is the best option to migrate to higher version.

Thank you,

It’s not well documented at all, but inside the theme package zip file, there is an extra folder titled “Additional”. Inside that folder, you will find a readme file as well as an OCMod file that must be installed BEFORE attempting to upgrade BurnEngine to latest version.

It’s very easy to overlook when installing the theme and ThemeBurn honestly should have done a better job of making this requirement known.

None the less, I can confirm that BE 1.1.2 works with OC 2.0.3.1 because we are using them both currently.

Good luck!

@TXVaporGuy
thank you for your reply, it was very helpfull !
I restored my environment with BE 1.0.7 , installed the modification file (ocmod file under folder additionnal) and run again the upgrade of the theme. the result is better, modules are still visible under menu extension/modules. Everything else looks ok so far.

@ThemeBurn: please do not consider this request , with installation of ocmod file, the upgrade went fine.

thank you,

You can either use the ocmod or delete the admin/controller/extension/module/, as described here:
