Upgrade opencart and shoppica

hello. what is the best way to upgrade both opencart and shoppica? i ask this becouse shoppica uses modified opencart files and olso i have added several modules. thanks

olso when will you release a version of shoppica for 1.5.1.3 opencart?

Hi,

Shoppica overwrites only 3 core files, as the modifications are only a few lines. If you do not want to overwrite, you could compare the original files with the ones from the package and apply the changes manually. The same is, when updating.

Generally, we try to keep the logic in a few files and the thing you will need to look through would be template, css and js only.

We will post a topic in “How to” soon with advices and best practices about the update of OpenCart and Shoppica.

As for the 1.5.1.3 update, we need to check what is changed first to be sure about a release date.
