Topic: When Click Facebook like button, it doesn't show the thumbnail, description, title on the wall.

Hi, I got the problem, when I click on the like button, normally it will write on my wall with thumbnail (product pic) and the title (product name) and meta description of the product. But now, it doesn’t show any more you can see the link below. PS. I’m using OC 1.5.1.3, Shoppica 1.011 Please advice how to solve this. Regards, Prasan T. Hi, We’ve checked you website again. It seems facebook doesn’t crawl the links from your website. Generally, this happens with unavailable addresses. Unavailable may be an address that doesn’t exists (you can try putting a fictional url on your facebook wall), or that is inaccessible to facebook. Check your server configuration for any blocking rules. This may be the most probable reason. Best, ThemeBurn team	TB Support

Hi TB, But when I use …/admin, Facebook can detect the title, image, description normally. So is it the hosting issue? PS. I am using Rackspace cloud sites. Regards, Prasan T.	psntree

Hi, Indeed, everything is OK with the admin address. You can check your website with this tool: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug Try clicking on the “See exactly what our scraper sees for your URL” link at the bottom, after you’ve submitted an address. All links from your website does return a blank page. That is why the facebook cannot extract title, description and images. We’ve checked a couple of other Shoppica websites and there were no problems. The only thing you can do here is to either ask your hosting support (for some restrictions), or try searching help in the Facebook forums. Best, ThemeBurn team	TB Support

Just another suggestion. Try changing the default language to English and put a link on the wall. There may be some problem with the Thai language, something that breaks the Facebook scraper (parser). This will help you to be more precise, when looking for support. Best, ThemeBurn team	TB Support
