While having so much customisation is excellent, in a multi-store environment its a bloody pain in the ass to have to go through each store and set the same configuration. Like with the color inheritance rules, it should be possible to set a standard layout / theme etc and then have this be inherited down to each store based on a setting within said store, or have an overiding rule somewhere.

Based on what I read initially, I thought this was the case, but I cant find any information on how to do it, nor any settings that would indicate its possible.
