Hi Guys

I have a problem in that whenever i add a product the cart stays empty. The popup confirms product is added but it never appears in the cart.

I cant explain why this is occurring.
cache is off, all modules except BE and default Opencart ones are now off.
The problem first occurred on Beta v14 after I enabled Ajax One Page Quick Checkout extension, which seemed to work on first test and was visible at front end, but then after a couple of run throughs the empty cart issue appeared.

I uninstalled AOPQC, cleared VQmod caches, extension cache etc.
I then upgraded to Beta v17 but problem of empty cart persists.
Would really appreciate some help!

Hi,

The problem you describe is caused by the product “minimum quantity” value, which in your case is 0. This value is taken in product listing, which means that you add 0 items to cart every time you click on the “add to cart” button. This is why the cart “does not update”.

Unfortunately, there is no validation in OpenCart for this field and you will have to edit each product to fix this field value.

Strange how it just kicked in like that, as I have never added a value there before.
Great to have Ajax Quick Checkout working with BE by default too.

About the AQC extension; be sure you disable the “Force bootstrap” setting. You will get better formatting.
