Facebook Widget Cut Off At Bottom

This topic has been marked as not resolved.

My Facebook widget is now cut off at the bottom. I understand Facebook changed and won’t allow custom CSS stylings to the facebook widgets.

But, what can I change so that it’s no longer cut off at the bottom?

Please see the attached image to see what I’m talking about.

Thank you.

It’s lost all of its custom theme styling and has defaulted to the default out of the box Facebook styling. Waiting to see if there is a fix.

Surely, the Facebook styling does not have the bottom cut off by default. It is the way Shoppica is interpreting the widget that is making it appear cut off at the bottom. The styling Facebook provides would be fine if the bottom was not cut off.

Can someone else please take a look at this? Can someone at least point me to the right file?

As has been posted elsewhere in these forums, the problem is that Facebook has changed their code so the CSS styling that comes with the theme no longer works.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to insert custom styles in the like box, since Facebook disabled their old widget code :(

We will try to minimize the damage with the upcoming update, but there won’t be a Shoppica style likebox anymore.

Best,

Forgive me if I am off base, but can’t we just insert the likebox without doing any custom CSS styling on it? What is wrong with the default style that Facebook provides? I think it looks fine.

Can’t the size of the DIV be increased so it is not cutoff?

I’m not looking to change the style, just trying to keep the bottom from being cut off.

also if u check this page with shoppica http://www.papillon.com.gr/eshop/ it looks fine… we just want to increase the size of likebox, i think we must incerase the size of iframe.. am i wrong themeburn?

This appears fixed on my site now. I have no idea what happened, but today it looks fine. I didn’t do anything. I guess it’s something Facebook did.

Yea, seems that facebook reverted changes or smth. I had the same problem but now everything is back as it used to be, without any actions from me.

Hi, this might seem lika an odd question.
I kind of liked the regular Facebook widget without the Shoppica theme on it ( because it acutally links to the facebook site, so users can press is to get to the site )

Today it all of the suddenly reverted to the Shoppica theme again.

Is it possible to disable the Shoppica theme on the facebook widget and just to go with the standard one?

Hi,

An updated facebook widget is available with the latest Shoppica.
