Hi,

Are you talking about default OC filters? Here is a quick step by step guide:

I already did that but when adding the module block anywhere on the site nothing appears. Am i doing something wrong or is something else expected? Shouldn’t i get a tickbox block or something like that?

Hi,

Do not forget to that filters will only appear on category pages and only if there are products that fit in filter range.

Do I need to uninstall opencart’s default filter?

So products need to be configured, each under filter…

is there anyway i can configure the layout as it really is not nice to have a set of lists one under another

@LucianSuciu

Filters should have the same styling as in default OC theme. We’ve not modified anything here. If you think there is some visual bug, then we will need to check a live example.

@roninstudio

Not sure what exactly you mean. Can you please provide more information?

The styling is the same but i would hav wanted to have it in the right column instead of categories maybe… the only place it shows is in the content area and as you can see it is not looking good at all… probably i am doing it wrong.

can it be put as a grid format not as a list? can the filter parent be highlighted and as another font size? it seems they are all in the same font group? can the filter parent be collapsed? as for now it really look ugly :(

@LucianSuciu

You can still insert the filter module in the left column. You just need to use a category scope (All categories, Level N category or a selected category).

Unfortunately, original filter has no styling options. We could add such a functionality but it is pointless since there are a couple of complex solution (Mega Filter PRO and Brainy Filter).

so will Brainy Filter work with your theme then?

Should be OK, but we recommend MFP.

Ok i have bought and installed MFP but i cannot seem to get it shown. How can i enable it to be displayed, i do not see it in layout so i can put it in TB_Widgets. Can you please share info on how to get this one working?
