Hi TB team,

Back again :-|

Updated OC to version 2.0.1.0 and installed Pavilion version 1.2.0.
When I tried to install Pavilion CP, the errors as in the attachment showed up.
Please take a look at the attachment.
Had to hit the browser back button and Pavilion is installed. I was able to enter the Pavilion CP module. Saved it.

The fronted throws these two:

Notice: Undefined variable: tbData in /home/springkunl/domains/springkussen-huren-amsterdam.nl/public_html/catalog/view/theme/pavilion/template/module/featured.tpl on line 1
Fatal error: Call to a member function slotStart() on a non-object in /home/springkunl/domains/springkussen-huren-amsterdam.nl/public_html/catalog/view/theme/pavilion/template/module/featured.tpl on line 1

Looks like the problem is on my side but i really don’t have a clue. Hope you can help me out with this one?
You can use the same details for admin and FTP access as i mentioned before.

Thanks in advance,
Dieter.

Looks like you cannot add an attachment when you edit a post?

Hi @Dieter,

we checked your site and it seems there is a problem, which is not related to Pavilion. We uninstalled the theme completely and then went to admin panel -> Extensions -> Modifications. After hitting the refresh button, the error notices you attached are shown. This would happen even if you remove the whole theme.

Most likely there are not enough permissions on the system/modifications folder. Please, check it and change the permissions to 777. Then try again to install the Pavilion module.

Best,

Hi TB,

I tried what you suggested but things are even more worse.
Lots and lots of errors. Please look at the attached file but thats not all of them.
Now even after uninstalling the Pavilion module the default theme does not work.

But your saying that it’s not an Pavilion related issue. How can that be?
I mean, a clean install of OC works. After installing pavilion, the sh*t hits the fan. ;-)
Looks to me like it’s clearly a Pavilion issue.

Anyway, Pavilion doesn’t work, after uninstalling Pavilion the default theme doesn’t work.
Shows this:

Notice: Undefined index: en in /home/springkunl/domains/springkussen-huren-amsterdam.nl/public_html/index.php on line 176Notice: Undefined index: en in /home/springkunl/domains/springkussen-huren-amsterdam.nl/public_html/index.php on line 177Notice: Undefined index: en in /home/springkunl/domains/springkussen-huren-amsterdam.nl/public_html/index.php on line 180

I going to re-install OC, again. Change permission for the system/modifications folder. Try to install Pavilion, again.
By the way, do i have to set permission to 777 for that folder only or recursively for all folders or for files and folders?

Hope things can be sorted out!

Regards,
Dieter

Hi!

You need to set 777 on system/modifications folder. It does not contain subfolders, so no recursion needed.

Also, after you install clean opencart and beforea even uploading Pavilion, could you please try to go to admin panel -> Extensions -> Modifications and click on the refresh button (the blue button in the upper right corent). It should give no errors/notifications.

I will try that.

But, there are folders inside the system/modifications folder.
In mine there are :-/
Another system folder with a engine and a library folder.
Thats odd…

I’m going to re-install anyway. Tomorrow, I’m done for today.

Thanks,
Dieter

The system/modifications folder is normally empty on new installations. We’ll wait for your confirmation that the clear opencart install works and there are no error notices when you refresh the modifications, as described above.

Hi Guys,

It works! :-D

Downloaded OC 2.0.1.1 and Pavilion 1.2.1
Missed the notification mail about updated versions…

Clean install of OC and checked the admin panel -> Extensions -> Modifications and hit refresh.
No notices or errors showed up and no errors at the front-end.

Set permissions for sytem/modification folder to 777 and uploaded Pavilion.
Followed the instructions in the documentation and everything works fine.
No errors and notices.

Thank you for you help and patience!

Regards,
Dieter

1 more question…
Should I leave the permissions for the system/modification folder to 777 or can it set back to 755?

Thanks,
Dieter
