Hi all my pics are blurry.

under my system->settings the product image thumb size is set to 340pc x 340px and the images uploaded are 340px x 340px and perfectly sharp….but on the product page the product images are being resized to bigger and are all blurry??? There is nowhere that I can see where any image is set to be a bigger size than 340px and I am completely baffled as to where this instruction to go bigger is coming from…. Under the settings, my images are either 340px x 340px or 180px x 180px, with a few 140px images (wish list/cart)

Similarly, my logo is 375 x 70 px and appears perfectly sharp if right clicked and viewed in browser from image url, but on the shop page it is being resized to a bigger size and looks all blurry!

Please can you advise…I am completely thrown.

Hi,

Which images exactly are looking blurry? Those on Latest/Special/Bestseller or Featured module? All product listing modules have their own image settings, which you need to change.

Hi,

I said above :-(
what settings should be different from the ones I gave above?
I cant see any logo size setting anywhere?

As mentioned above the images affected are:
1) the logo (being resized bigger- it looks sharp on right click->view image)
2) the main product page pictures (being resized bigger)

However, also (which i wasn’t so clear about above) product thumbnails in category view are blurry
and another image issue is that side banners are being slightly resized to bigger than 220px x 140px and so are slightly blurry.

system settings=> product image thumb size =340px
product image list size = 180px

Hi,

Is this happening, when using the default theme? Anyway we will need the website url and admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.
