Missing tag ?

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi,
I use a product personalization module (fancy product designer), I have an error message on the customization page.

“Sorry! But the product designer is not adapted for your device. Please use a device with a larger screen!”

And here’s what tells me the module developer:

Missing hook: body_class If you are seeing this information instead of the Product Designer: Sorry! But the product designer is not adapted for your device. Please use a device with a larger screen!

It means an important hook is missing in your theme. You need to add following code to the body HTML tag in the header.php your theme.

here the link to see this problem : http://support.fancyproductdesigner.com/support/solutions/articles/5000582912-using-the-debug-mode-to-inspect-any-missing-hooks-in-woocommerce-product-pages

I do not know or add this tag, can you help me?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

We’ve checked the link you have provided but as far as we can see this third party extension is for WooCommerce / WordPress and not OpenCart.

Do we miss something?

I tried with the original theme opencart and it works with the theme journal 2 as well, so it is indeed a theme issue

Hi,

We’ve checked your website and it seems that the product designer runs fine. There were some small problems caused by changed markup; we’ve altered the vqmod xml file a bit and now everything should work fine. You can check your iPhone product.

thank you for your help, I do not know what xml file has been modified but normally a “customize” button should appear beside the cart button in product list, product category, product grid

hi,
try something else, I think this version of fancy product designer has a bug, I copied my shop in a subdomain, everything works but I have not installed your theme, I give you the access that may be be easier to work on that copy.

Your theme is installed on copy site please check thank you.

Hi,

Please, check the first store, we’ve fixed the add to cart button to update cart and show message.

About the customize button. From the original vqmod integration file, it should appear on the category and product pages only.

Unfortunately, for the moment the customizer does not load when Defer JS (inline and external) is ON. You should keep it disabled, until we provide a fix.

Hi,
this is very good news, can you tell me which files are modified?
because I would like to install this theme on my shop which is in production, thank you in advance.

Hi,

These are the integration files that you will need for your new installation:

catalog/view/theme/BurnEngine/template/product/fnt_product_design.tpl
vqmod/xml/fnt_fancy_product_designer.be.xml

P.S. Have in mind that this integration is for OC 1.5 only and you need to remove (comment) the original vqmod file.
