I managed to fix the issue by downgrading PHP version.

Can you please provide more information about this issue? Do you have any logged errors that we can check? What was/is your PHP version before/after downgrade.

I am running on a VPS server using centos 7 + vestacp panel

By default its only running on php5.6

Since vestacp is open source, someone made a plugin to be able to upgrade your php version.

When I switch to all available php versions (7, 5.6 ,5.5) using that plugin, the issue exists.
Except using the default one, 5.6.

Hi,

We’ve logged into the admin panel, but you have downgraded your PHP version and the problem is not presented at the moment.

Do you have the option to provide a testing environment with a greater version, so we can check the problem? Or you can at least show what is the error response from the AJAX call:

Hi,

We will try to make you a testing environment in a few days.
Right now I experience other bugs outside burn engine. So there is actually no reason for me to use other PHP versions other than the default one in vestacp.

So my tracker for this bug is now closed and no reason to get fixed since other features are affected as well.
