Pavilion and vQmod

This topic has been marked as resolved.

I have vQmod installed and trying to add an .xml file with changes to core files. But it seems like the Pavilion theme doesn’t allow for the changes to happen.

Known issue?

Which core files are you trying to change ?

Now the following: catalog/model/catalog/product.php

I have also tried to use vQmod to make changes in the template (Pavilion) files with the same result.

Pavilion can’t influence vQmod’s operation. vQmod is just a separate system, which hooks into OpenCart’s loading mechanism and Pavilion doesn’t mess with this. Pavilion is fully compatible with vQmod and all of its templates can be modded. We tested this thoroughly.

I assume the issue is with vQmod and not with Pavilion. Most probably vQmod is not installed correctly or there are errors in your xml mods. You can check the vQmod log.

Also, note that there is no need for vQmod in OpenCart 2.0 as it has own modification system, which is 90% similar to vQmod. I doubt vQmod could be used alongside with OCmod in OpenCart 2.0

OK. vQmod can be used if it is upgraded to 2.5.1.
