I’m not sure if this is an actual Opencart issue or if you guys could help me out, but I just want to remove or hide the subcategory images that appear at the top when you click on a parent category. I either want to replace them with text or better yet, get rid of that top menu all together. (Click link to see what I’m referring to.)

Also, if someone could tell me if/how I can hide the subcategories from displaying when you hover over a parent category in the main navigation? I’d much rather have the main navigation as it would look if there were no subcategories, and simply use the right-hand sidebar to delve into subcategories.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

I’ve asked over on the Opencart forums and they told me it has to be changed within the Shoppica template.

Ok, I was able to hide the subcategory images by going to system> settings> image and changing category list size dimensions to 1×1. So, now it only shows text links.
If anyone could help me with the subcategory hover thing from the main navigation, that’d be great.

@cords924
You can prevent the subcategories from showing from the Shoppica 2 CP > Design > Product > Show subcategories toggle.
