Maybe we wasn’t clear enough in the previous post. After you restore the installation to a ‘working state’, you don’t have to upgrade or upload anything. Just go to Admin -> Extension -> Modifications and hit the refresh button http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/1156/6573746597.png. Then the edit product does not open anymore.
The ‘refresh modifications’ operation has no relation to BurnEngine. It just reloads the opencart ocmods. You can even uninstall and remove BurnEngine (we tried it)- the edit product breaks again. Thanks for taking your time to take screenshots, but as explained- you don’t need to upgrade BurnEngine in order to break the edit product functionality.
This doesn’t mean there is no problem, but we can’t really find connection with BurnEngine. As mentioned, we removed BurnEngine and you should have in mind that it does not leave any trails (db or file modifications) after it has been uninstalled, so we exclude that some BurnEngine leftovers are causing this issue.
Again, can you try the following- restore the installation to a ‘product edit working state’ and then hit refresh button in modifications. Does the edit product still work ?

PS: i have managed to make it work with some mix of restore backup and clean of /system/* files and a copy of the upgraded version. By far not the best way to deal with it but at the end of the day it works.
