How to convert settings from pre-"Burn engine"-version to recent version?

Hey there,

I have a SQL-Backup of a pre-”Burn engine”-version and need help to convert the settings or alter the database entry in MySQL in the way that the new Burn Engine accepts and converts the settings.

The Backup is linked as a txt-file here:

the old table format was oc_tb_setting.

I tried deleting the new oc_burnengine_setting and filling it with the sql data of the oc_tb_setting table. Which set the Burnengine into the described “need to upgrade”-mode but it stated that the burnengine version is missing.

Because of that it idled 2 hours in the Please wait… state, so I refreshed the page and unfortunately it just threw errors at me. So I rewinded everything and copied back the standard input that was present in the oc_burnengine_setting before.

Could you give me kind advice on how to convert the data please?

Hi,

Unfortunately Pavilion 1.x to 2.x migration tool cannot be supported anymore. There are just too many differences that cannot be covered. Even the initial version of BurnEngine has too many differences with Pavilion 1.

What we could recommend is to create a new installation of OpenCart + BurnEngine and manually transfer all styling without the danger to break your existing installation.
