Adding Store Categories to Main Menu

So I had built my website, and just needed to add my products. My hosting company were causing a huge deal of problems – some of which I posted about here as they had advised me it wasn’t their fault (turns out it was).

I have now moved my hosts, and due to the issues I am actually having to build the website again from scratch. Not a huge issue as I already had the images and colours and wording ready to use. BUT I’ve found that a lot of things seem to appear slightly differently now, and certainly now that I’m trying to build the site, there are things that I can’t do that I could do before. Any idea of why this might be? I have installed the theme followed by importing the sample data (which I ended up just deleting anyway!)

So my main issue right now is that I cannot add my product categories to my main menu. On Appearance > Menus, previously, I had several options of things I could add to the menu down the left hand side. Now I only have the standard blog categories and pages.

Do you have any idea how I can add store categories to my menu

Hello,

When you are on Appearance -> Menus, on top right corner click on Screen Options and enable Product categories.
