Hi,

It seems that when I add new categories they won’t show in the menu in all categories dropdown menu. There are only categories which were there before Pavilion installation.

Bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

You may need to:

1) Check the “Top” checkbox option for your top level categories. This is a defautl OC feature and can be accessed in the category create/edit form.

2) Disable menu cache until, or clear it after you have built your navigation. Cache settings are located in Pavilion CP > Theme Settings > System.

Hi,

All of the options were already checked (top level) or disabled (menu cache), so this is not the cause.

OK, It looks it was really the cache causing problems.
I tried again and also cleared the cache and now it is working.

I have another question regarding Menu builder.

I’ve created new System page Theme Settings/System/Pages
When I wish to add this page to the menu I can’t. It won’t show in Add Menu Item?

Hi,

Unfortunately, Theme Settings > System > Pages is not linked with the Menu Composer tool. You will need to use the Custom > Static/Url menu type.
