Hello,
I would like to exclude certain blog post categories from appearing on the blog page. I selected the Full Width Template and modified the code according to the WordPress Codex as follows:

The problem is that then none of the posts show up even though there are several different categories available.

I also tried the ‘Simply Exclude’ plugin and that had the same result.

Is there a way to prevent certain post categories appearing within a page using a specific template or via a shortcode?
