Hi,

1) Is the filter issue appearing on the default theme? Generally, you can have the filter enabled for a specific page, but there can be no products to match the filter options. This will hide the filter, but it will still be assigned as a column widget.

2) Can we take a look at the exact page you want to place the module in? Also, can you please, explain a bit more to be sure we’ve got everything right?

Thanks,

I’ve not tried the default theme. Can I disable shoppica2 without getting rid of all settings?

I can see this in the error log :
2013-12-03 15:23:11 – PHP Notice: Undefined variable: manufacturer in /homepages/33/d429474001/htdocs/opencart/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-catalog_view_theme_shoppica2_template_product_manufacturer_info.tpl on line 17

The issue applies to any of the pages linked from https://www.drumsource.co.uk/index.php?route=product/manufacturer.
I can see that column right has been assigned to hold the filter but it does not appear. Maybe this is an issue with opencart itself since there is no where in catalogue>manufacturers to apply filters.

Hi,

Please supply a link to the administration login page, as the default one does not work.

Thanks,

Hi,

It seems that the template for the brand page (e.g. the page for all Aquarian products) is addressing an undefined variable, which causes this notice to appear.

As there is no such variable in the template, probably it is added by some third party vqmod. We see that you are using some mod to show the brand logo on each brand page. Perhaps this is the cause for this error.

Most likely you will get the same problem with the default theme too.

Best,

I deleted the mod and cleared the vqcache but nothing changed. The column that should show the filter is still empty. Anything else I could try?
