attached picture says it all.

Do I find some file & comment out a pile of code somewhere ?

I had vqmods doing all this in a previous 1.5.4 standard shop, but now shoppica 2- none of them do anything.

Any help gratefully appreciated :)

Hi,

You just have removed the subcategories list :)

This can also be done from the theme CP, however :)

Shoppica 2 CP > Design > Products > Show subcategories option

No.

The theme control panel subcategories option does not remove:

‘grid / list view’, ‘sort by box’ or ‘show number per page’ stuff.

Which still show up when shopping by brand option.

Where do I comment these out for the Brand display page please ?

Also, when compare is removed under theme control panel, it still shows up under Brand view.

cheers mate ;)

found it…

pls disregard question.

for any interested:

find file: … /template/TB/brand_categories.tpl

& comment out lines 45 to 97

seems life is spent hunting for the file with the code that does something. Is there a better way? Is there a schematic (ex sparky here) or something to see what is where & does what?

From my own searching for answers, everybody seems to be doing the same thing, hunting around, then searching around, then asking around… all very inefficient, let alone frustrating :(
