How to revert and/or save changes on Burnengine

The time to play with the Burnengine controls and setings begins, I´m Very excited.
But, How to revert and/or save changes on Burnengine?

And how to backup or make a copy of the theme if I decide to go back again some days, after severall changes?

I don´t want to lament myself because I do something wrong and I can not be back, or I liked some change and I lost them forever, time and energy wasting, very dissapointing.

On another subject, can I work with the 3 diferent default Technopolis Themes at random, it will be a nice way to learn how are the sitings done to behave in that way on every subject, it is a way to learn fast. It is possible? Can I install them on diferent directories inside the Opencart, how to make that?

Thanks for your support, have a nice day

@33tecnoman

JAZZLT has been very helpful and has correctly shown how to export theme settings.

About how to install themes on different “directories” – you could create some multi-stores and apply each store a different theme. More information about multi-stores can be found here:

Thank you very much JAZZLT for your help

Because I´m a begginer, I apologize myself if I can not understand some things. I feel some of my cuestions have not been answered fully. At the present time is not very clear for me if there is or not, another way to save and revert very small changes, other than export and import.

I understood how to back up, export, and how to import old settings.

So, please let me see if I have understand, if not please correct me.
Burnengine is saving continuously, automatically in real time, so there is not need to save any changes, is it right? Burnengine does it automatically, is it right?

So the only way to revert any small change is through the Export and Import way, is it right?

If not, please tell me how to save and revert the minimum small changes?

But I didn´t understand why I have to turn off cache?

I thank you so much for your help, support and tolerance.

Have a nice day

I thankto JazzLT for your help. You have answer my questions about IMPORT, thanks, but for the another questions I have no received any answer yet, and my doubts still.

Please JazzLT don´t feel offended but I prefer that the people from “TB Support” answer to my questions because they don´t let questions behind whithout to answer. And is not a way to be posting my dudes one after another, it takes too much time and effort.

This is the second time I have to post some of my questions, because they have not be answered fully.

I told you I´m a begginer and I need my questions to be explained in a very detailled and organized way, otherwise it will take so much time for me waiting one answer after another to clarify my doubts.

I´m not also a begginer, I´m not english spoken person, english is my second language, so it is difficult for me to comunicate, and I have to do it one after another, it takes so much energy and time from me trying to comunicate correctly in order to be fully understood.

And is very dissapointing not to be taken seriously in spite of so much efforts, it is very frustrating.

Because of that I felt very comfortable with the past answers from “TB SUPPORT” , they answer to my questions and clarify my doubts from the first answer, and rarely I had to post a second question and that only because I have an extra doubt.

So please I hope you can understand my situation and don´t feel ofended please, but let the people from “TB SUPPORT” answer to my questions, thanks

Hi,

1) Caching should be turned off, otherwise you will have to clear it every time you change something in your theme settings. Generally, we detect and some changes in Page Builder and re-build cache automatically, but cannot track any change.

2) BurnEngine is not saving automatically. Once you change something you need to save. Some panels have their own save buttons – Page Builder, Fire slider, Colors etc.

3) The only available ways to keep your settings is to either use the theme export tool, or to backup your database.

In Page Builder you have the option to export blocks as Favorites and use them later. You can also create / export page templates. Page template can be applied on single pages only.

Hi,

Cache is used to speed up your website. It is no problem to have it turned OFF, when you are still developing your store. Once you put the website live, you can enable cache to increase performance.

P.S. Cache cannot switch ON automatically.
