I have a couple of image questions.

1. How many thumbnail images does the theme use/call for?
I have the woocommerce settings
catalog – 180 x 180
single product – 340 x 340
Product thumbs – 120 x 120
In media settings
thumb – 120 x 120
med – 340 x 340
Large max – 1024 x 1024

When I upload an image mostly WordPress is creating 13 to 15 different image sizes, but sometimes as many as 24.
I guess my concern is with 100′s of products the uploads folder is huge. Should I even worry about it or is there a simple solution?
Would setting the Media settings all to 0 x 0 work? Then it should only create the ones the theme calls for, is this correct?

2. In catalog view the image containers are sometimes different sizes, depending on the shape of the product or shape of original image, not sure which. This results in the products sometimes not all being in an even line across the page.

You have the image then a divider bar directly under the image with the product title under that. It is these bars that do not all line up the same. The site owner is a little OCD so this bothers him.
Is there an easy solution for this?
