Out Of Stock behavior: The way that out of stock products are currently handled by BurnEngine is by removing the button entirely and adding a plain-text stock status. While this is the best solution for the prevention of adding an item to the cart that is out of stock, it might be nice to have the option to display a non-linked button that reflects the stock status rather than just plain text. If you end up adding this to an update, please consider assigning a special selector class for each stock status or allow the user to assign them. The possibilities with this are almost endless in terms of custom styling for each status. For example, with a custom CSS selector, products that are out of stock could have a red button, pre-order could have a blue button, etc. I think that other users would find this feature highly useful. Feature Request (Icons): Thank you! |

Hi, 1) A custom selector for different statuses can be added easily. 2) Adding custom icon sets will be a bigger task, but we may invest some time in future updates. Thanks for the suggestions BR, |

@TB Support As previously requested about the out of stock status functionality, is there any chance this might be in the pipeline yet? We’re running into an issue trying to set up an out of stock notification module currently because of how BurnEngine handles out of stock item cart button. Thanks, |

Hi Brett, Custom stock status class will be available with the upcoming version. It will be based on the status id in the database. BR, |

@TB Support That sounds great, will there also be a way to display the new stock status on the product page itself (to replace the add to cart button)? Also, is there any ETA on the update? Thanks, |
