Hi all
I’ve tried to upgrade from 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.4.1 (with shoppica 2), but everytime I install the opencart files, I am unable to access the domain.com/install/upgrade.php file.
Instead, I receive the shoppica 2 caution shoppica 2 not installed correctly.
Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Make sure, the /install/upgrade.php file exists on your server, though we are unaware for such a file at all. The correct file for upgrade should be /install/index.php.

I am suffering the same
please can some one please explain what has happened.
I have “upgraded” but cannot access the admin pane or anything – I am now looking at a website with a shoppica install error pane.
please help.

The issues you are describing reveal that you messed up your opencart installation somehow. This is not connected to shoppica and would appear with the default theme also.
Try to switch yo your default theme – try to access your admin panel by direct URL – yoursite.com/admin/index.php. If this doesn’t help, remove your .htaccess file temporary and try again.
