Dear all,
I have a quick question regarding adding description text for example categories. I can do it in the traditional way through the default category settings, and I can also add text through your Page Builder and with specific text boxes.
I just wondering if there is any wrong or ok regarding this different methods? Any “bad issues” with Google crawling for example?
Best regards Thomas

Hi Thomas,
The better way would be to use the category default “Description” field and then only position the block in Page Builder.

This would be easier to maintain than creating a separate scope in Page Builder for each category. If you then decide to make a layout change you will need to edit only one scope (All categories).
P.S. We are not specialized in SEO, but in the last 5 (or more) years, text position and keyword density on your page are not a major factor (or not a factor at all) for your ranking.

OK, then I will stay with the default category description function for easiest work. Thanks for your answer!
