Is shoppica compatible with the latest WPEC update?

Hello,

I am asking this PRIOR to updating WPEC, because last time it wasn’t compatible and it caused problems on my site. Is Shoppica compatible with WPEC’s latest update?

If not then when can I update it?

It is not. Since the end of May these guys have been saying “next week” “next week”, “99% chance we release it at the beginning of next week”. Don’t get your hopes up when they reply “next week” here.

Ok so that’s fine – but WHEN can we all expect to be able to update? (and don’t say next week)

Obviously you get access to it before the release so how long does it take you to sort through the issues?

I think I fond the new update- but when I went to install it via WP I got this error:

Installing Theme from uploaded file: shoppica.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Theme install failed.

Why does the update not show within our WP dashboard in the Updates section or in the Shoppica Theme section?

Please read the documentation how to update the theme. Please upload your files with ftp client.
