Hi TB,
I’ve recently installed two extensions which speed up the site using caching, they come highly recommended:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=6204&filter_search=cache
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=3477&filter_search=cache
However my mobile homepage won’t load. I’ve contacted the developers but they don’t think this is to do with the above.
I’m stuck. The rest of the site works on my iPhone only the homepage won’t load.
Is there a chance you could look into this for me?
Many thanks
Kevin

Hi TB,
I’m sure this is beyond your remit of support, but… any advice, I’m really stuck.
Cheers

Hi TB,
Bit more info.
I’ve just installed WP with a Theme ‘AVADA’ for my site: http://www.vintageheirloom.com/blog/
If I now try to view my main site on my iPhone it won’t load. If in a separate window I view my blog & then return to my main site it loads.
Once it has loaded once it works, however if I clear Safari history then problem returns??
In WP I’ve tried:
Alternating Theme Responsiveness ‘On/Off’
Set permalinks back to default
Have you come across a conflict like this before?

Hi Kevin,
We really don’t know what is the exact advantage of such “speed-up” plugins. We believe in the idea of markup, image, css and js optimization, but it should be done individually for every website.
In the Shoppica case, we’ve tried to lighten the mobile version as much as we could: we’ve removed a lot of unnecessary images e.g.
Unfortunately, we can’t say anything about these two extensions.
Best,
ThemeBurn team
