Pavilion Updates

It’s awesome that the software is being updated left and right but its also creating a lot of chaos. We have to make some modification etc… which most likely will get fried on a update.

I wonder if there would be a way to install TWO pavilion versions in OC?
That way you enable the new version and see if it totally breaks the site or not without any real risk.

or somehow create an incremental update system (like wordpress)

That is actually a pretty cool idea, since the OC system is used to choose different styles and modifications of the same template. Plus, extensions (xml files) can be applied per store.

Don’t know, though, how difficult it is to apply.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately this is not possible at all. Furthermore, the future of our themes is BurnEngine and older version will be dropped in the future.
