Reduce White Spaces

Hi team TB

I would like to reduce the width of the drop down menu.I edited the width in the screen.css however reducing the width to less than 400 px results in the drop down menu changing into one column instead of 2.

Is there any way I can reduce the white spaces by avoiding the change of menu to 1 column?

Please find attached screenshot for reference.
