Theme intro versus bannerslide

Can you advise me how to change the position and the width of the theme intro.

Hi,

Theme intro cannot be re-positioned. It will always appear under main navigation. If you want a slider somewhere else on the page, you will have to use the default Slideshow module, or some other third party extension.

That isn’t the right answer, because in an older post support answered:

How to put intro under the slide show instead of top of slideshow?
You can do this relatively easy only for the home page.
1) Open catalog/view/theme/shoppica/template/common/home.tpl
2) Find code and remove it.
3) Paste after this piece of code:

  
      
  

So, my question is yet how can I position the intro on the home page to ” content bottom” and resize it?

Hi,

You can follow the instruction from the post you’ve mentioned, but you cannot resize the intro row.
