This topic has been marked as not a support question.

I’m wondering is there is a way to add an item and link to the all category drop down or mega link?
I don’t have an internal page, but i have another site i would like to link to from within the All Cat dropdown? Also is there a way to control the order they appear in the dropdown or mega menu?
Cheers

Hi,

Can you give more information about what you are trying to do? We are not very sure, we have understood your request.

Generally, in a case you want more complex menu, you should HTML dropdown.

The idea was…
If you add a “all categories” to the menu. Pavilion automatically adds OC built categories to the menu dropdown
example:
all categories
– dogs
– cats
– birds
– reptiles

These 4 are Opencart built categories… what I would like to do is add a to second site I have about cows.
so it would read:

all categories
– dogs
– cats
– birds
– reptiles
– cows <— would not be an internal category but a link to another site.

Hope that clarifies what I'm trying to do.
Cheers

Hi,

Unfortunately, for the moment this is not possible to do with the “All Categories” menu type. You will have to use custom HTML dropdown. Maybe in the future we will make the composer more flexible.

Understood, this template does some many things right that I can hardly fault you for this… :)
