I need to set in the final category 1 big single image showing all the category product .
Only in the final category i need this … in parent category it’s ok the child category list images

Maybe i’ve not written it correctly . I need to be able to show category big image when category has not child categories.
The image should appear before listing options

Another solution could be a category tpl to set only on categories where i want self big image right ??? i gave a look to your code but it’s not so easy to analyse

Hi,
Have you tried to insert the big image in the category description for each end subcategory?
This is a simpler option, instead of modifying core files and creating numerous conditions.
